Korean Ambassador’s Cup
The Korean Ambassador’s Cup will be held at the offices of the Hanho Korean Daily Newspaper in Eastwood. The Hanho Newspaper is the major sponsor for the event which regularly attracts the top Go/Baduk players in Australia.
The 2019 competition will be held on Sunday August 11th from 8:30am; Registration closes at 9:00am with the Prize Presentation at 5:45pm.
The entry fee is $40 ($30 concession for students) this includes all tournament fees, light lunch and refreshments. There are cash prizes and trophies for each division totalling $2,000.

There are three divisions in the tournament:
The Division A (Open division): 5 dan and above, even games 6.5 komi
The Division B: 5 dan ~ 1 dan, handicap games
The Division C: 1 kyu to beginner, handicap games (maximum 9 stones)
There are 5 rounds in each division; players having a time limit of 20 minutes plus 3 x 30 seconds byo yomi in all divisions.
