The 2019 NSW Junior's Championship will be held on Sunday June 23rd at the Hanho Newspaper, 370, Blaxland Road, Eastwood. Registration closes at 9:00am with games commencing at 9:30am. The closing ceremony and prize giving will be after the final round is complete (approx 3:30pm).
All players 16 or under are encouraged to take part; Division1 is for 9 kyu and stronger, division 2 for 10kyu and weaker - the games will be played with a handicap and the cost of entry includes soft drink and lunch. There are prizes and certificates for the winners and all players will be assessed and issued with AGA ranking certificates.
Each child must have parent or carer must be present, (a carer can be responsible for more than one child).Find out more »
This year the World University Go Championship will be held at The University of Sydney, Australia from July 7th to July 13th 2019. In addition, the semi-finals of the 16th Chang Qi Cup, China’s preeminent tournament for Professional Go Champions will take place on July 10th and 11th. Visitors are welcome and can watch the University student games.Find out more »

The Korean Ambassador's Cup will be held at the offices of the Hanho Korean Daily Newspaper in Eastwood on Sunday August 11th from 8:30am; Registration closes at 9:00am with the Prize Presentation at 5:45pm.Find out more »

The Australian Go Association cannot convene for a national championship in person. Normally the Nationals would be in Sydney for 2021, people flying in from all over the country over one of their long weekends. That will not happen this year, as most states are either quarantining to control epidemic SARS-CoV-2-delta or quarantining to keep out epidemic SARS-CoV-2. So, plan B: the 6th Australian Digital Championship is also the 43rd Australian Open. This is a temporary measure and all expectations are that we will revert to the customary tournament form next year.Find out more »
