2019 NSW Junior Championship
Hanho Newspaper 570 Blaxland Road, Eastwood, NSW, AustraliaThe 2019 NSW Junior's Championship will be held on Sunday June 23rd at the Hanho Newspaper, 370, Blaxland Road, Eastwood. Registration closes at 9:00am with games commencing at 9:30am. The closing ceremony and prize giving will be after the final round is complete (approx 3:30pm).
All players 16 or under are encouraged to take part; Division1 is for 9 kyu and stronger, division 2 for 10kyu and weaker - the games will be played with a handicap and the cost of entry includes soft drink and lunch. There are prizes and certificates for the winners and all players will be assessed and issued with AGA ranking certificates.
Each child must have parent or carer must be present, (a carer can be responsible for more than one child).
Ing World University Go Championship & 16th Chang Qi Cup
University of Sydney, The Quadrangle, Maclaurin HallThis year the World University Go Championship will be held at The University of Sydney, Australia from July 7th to July 13th 2019. In addition, the semi-finals of the 16th Chang Qi Cup, China’s preeminent tournament for Professional Go Champions will take place on July 10th and 11th. Visitors are welcome and can watch the University student games.
Korean Ambassador’s Cup

2022 Korean Ambassador’s Cup
Ryde-Eastwood Leagues Club 117 Ryedale Rd, West Ryde, NSW, AustraliaThe Korean Ambassador's Cup will be held at the Ryde-Eastwood Leagues club on August 14th 2022. There are three divisions limited to 16 contestants in each division.
The Open division is for strong dan players and is recommended for 5 dan players and above.
The dan handicap division is recommended for players 1 kyu to 5 dan.
The kyu handicap division is recommended for all kyu players.
There is a prize pool of $2,000.
With limited places it is important to register and pay as soon as possible. No additional registrations will be accepted for a division once all 16 spots have been taken.
2022 AGA National Championships
Ryde-Eastwood Leagues Club 117 Ryedale Rd, West Ryde, NSW, AustraliaThe 2022 Australian National Championships will be held in the Sports Lounge at the Ryde-Eastwood Leagues Club (117 Ryedale Rd, West Ryde, NSW, 2114) on the weekend of December 3rd & 4th 2022. The main tournament will consist of four divisions, the Open, Dan Handicap, Kyu Handicap and Emerging Player’s Tournament. In addition to the main tournament The Annual General Meeting of the AGA will be held at midday Saturday 3rd December.
Sang Dae Hahn Memorial Tournament
Ryde-Eastwood Leagues Club 117 Ryedale Rd, West Ryde, NSW, AustraliaThe Sang Dae Hahn Memorial Tournament will be held on Saturday March 4th and Sunday March 5th 2023 at the Ryde-Eastwood RSL, 117, Ryedale Road, West Ryde, NSW 2114. The doors will open at 10:00am.
There will be three main divisions with 6 games played over two days. The divisions are the Open Division for 5 dan and above; the Dan handicap division for 1 kyu and above; the Kyu handicap division for kyu players. There will also be a 5 round Junior’s division – for under-16 players from beginner to 10 kyu Sunday March 5th.
The prize pool is expected to be around $1,500 depending on entries and possible sponsorship.
The full entry fee for any division is $60 with a concession rate of $40 for students, interstate travellers and people over 75 years of age. The entry fee for the Junior’s tournament is $30.
2023 NSW Championships
