2022 Brisbane Spring Tournament

The tournament will take place on Saturday 17th September 2022 with two divisions.

Open Division: 2k and stronger, 4 rounds, no handicap, 45min + 3x30s byoyomi
Handicap division: 2d to 20k, 5 rounds, ≤9 stones, 30min + 3x30s byoyomi

Entry costs $25 regular, $20 concession. Snacks, tea/coffee provided, lunch provided

Rules: Japanese counting, 6.5 komi for even or 0.5 komi for handicap

The tournament timetable is as follows:

9:00am – Tournament director will be in room, social until round 1
9:30am – Registration opens
9:55am – Registration closes
10:00am – Open round 1, handicap round 1
11:15am – Handicap round 2
11:45am – Open Round 2
12:30pm – Handicap Round 4
1:30pm to 2:30pm – Lunch break
2:30pm – Open round 3, handicap round 4
3:45pm – Handicap round 5
4:15pm – Open round 4
6:00pm – Award ceremony
