Queensland Open Tournament

Registration: $50; $45 concession (student or pensioner).

Rules: Japanese counting and superko, 6.5 komi for even or 0.5 komi to white, QGS rankings.

Open Division: 30 minutes + one period of 30 seconds byoyomi, 6 rounds over 2 days, 2k-7d, no handicap

Handicap Division: 30 minutes + one period 30 seconds byoyomi, 6 rounds over 2 days, 2d-20k, up to 9 stones

Lunch and tea and coffee: included in registration, advise dietary requirements when emailing to register

QGS membership: including AGA membership included in registration.

Saturday 22nd February, 2020  Room opens 9:00am

• 9:30am – Draw
• 9:30am to 12:15pm – Round 1
• Noon – Lunch (please RSVP with dietary requirements)
• 12:15pm to 1pm – Queensland Go Society Annual General Meeting
• 1pm to 3:45pm – Round 2
• 3:45pm to 6:30pm – Round 3
• 10pm – room closes

Sunday 23rd February, 2020  Room opens 9:00am

• 9am – room opens
• 9:15am to noon – Round 4
• Noon – Lunch
• 12:30pm to 3:15pm – Round 5
• 3:15pm to 6pm – Round 6
• 6pm – Closing Ceremony
• 10pm – room closes
