SGC Autumn Tournament

The 2019 Sydney Go Club Autumn Tournament will be held on Sunday 14th April at the club premises (1st floor, 17, Brisbane Street, Surry Hills, NSW 2010).  TD – David Mitchell; Referee An Younggil.

The tournament will consist of an Open division and a Handicap division and will start at 9:00am.

Both divisions will have five rounds with the Agatha computer system selecting opponents and colour; the time limit for all games is 20 minutes per player plus 3 x 30 seconds byo yomi.

Open division

For players 3 dan and above – all games are even with White receiving 6.5 points komi

Handicap division

For players 3 dan and below – the Agatha computer system will determine the handicap there is NO komi, so a drawn game is drawn.

(Note: 3 dan players can choose which division they want.)

The entry fee is $30 per person with a concession rate of $20 for students and pensioners.

The entry fee covers tournament costs and includes a light lunch.
